wheel size and recomendations

Hey guys, any newer model stock wheels fit a 55? anybody know how big the center hole needs to be to fit? 6x???? Or do they make a adapter to run a 5 bolt pattern? Thanks

Camaro wheel until 1981, Chevelle/Monte wheels until 1988 Some not all IMPALAs until1980 something.

As far as I know all tri5 wheels were 5-bolt on 4 3/4" bolt circle. I heard the Black Widow 57's had 6 bolt rears though. You must not have a stock rearend.

Thats a different story, 1/2 2wd until 71 then they are 5 on 5. My 87 GMC 4x4 still have same center hole and BC. 88 up with POS independent front end. have a smaller center hole. Blazer and Surburban work until 1990. I have even seen this pattern on crap like Jeeps and Toyotas. Even my 3500 pound and 5200 pound car traier axles use 6 hole wheels that pattern with large center holes.
